One of the many other “jobs” a Photographer must do/Lake City,FL Photographer/Jacksonville,FL Photographer

As a photographer you end up doing alot of other jobs for your business. A little accounting, secreterial work, obviously design & LOTS of Marketing. I have been spending all of naptime (makes me sound so professional, but what can I say. Photography is job #2. Job 1 is Mom.) trying to “increase my online presence”. This involves lots of reading, typing, research, etc… it’s time consuming, but fingers crossed your name & “brand” get out there in the “interenet world”, more people hear about me and by default, more people love my work and want to use me as their photographer. I have brochures out in an OBGYN office (as of Tuesday), lots of Facebook posts, as well as this blog. I am looking into Twitter (heaven help me) and possibly a couple other social media sites. All in the name, of growing my business. Combine this with the free or discounted sessions I have done to obtain photos for advertising and I’m pretty much in the hole right now (factoring in I don’t get paid for Marketing time).  Fingers, toes and anything else crossed it is all worth it! Though, I know word of mouth is the best advertising, why not try a few other ways as well. 🙂 Now, since it is my photography blog a few photos… 🙂
