Back in July I met up with this wonderful mother of 2 gorgeous girls for her FIRST EVER professional portrait session. Every time I hear people say, “I’ve never had professional portraits done” I am so happy they decided to do it for their family & honored they chose me to capture this moment in time.
I LOVED the outfits she chose, how she kept her girls outfits to fit their personalities & just how much fun we had. And as a bonus the rain waited till we were done!

In July I met the first of my little personal baby boom at his home in Lake City. Mr. Isaac was perfection. A doll, his bedroom was well themed by his parents (see below) & most importantly had amazing natural light. Once he ate & we turned on the vacuum, he slept through the session.
I absolutely ADORED how this session turned out & it makes me want to do more Newborn Lifestyle sessions. It was so relaxed & just perfect. I cannot say enough how much I LOVE this session. I can only hope his family feels the same. As he is a Baby Plan babe I get to watch him grow this next year. Which makes me even more excited. ❤

I love the beach. I love beautiful brides. I love good food. I love a relaxed atmosphere. This wedding had all of this & more. It was perfection. A small, intimate ceremony & reception. Just family & a few close friends. Celebrating with them.
Starting out with everyone meeting at the bar of The Reef restaurant near Vilano Beach, FL. Everyone was so relaxed, happy, & just enjoying this time together. Even when the bride arrived, there was no big to do, everyone hugged, commented how gorgeous she looked (which. She totally did.) & laughed some more. Then they headed down to the beach for their vows & back up to enjoy food & cake. It couldn’t be easier.
Even though it was July, once the sun set a bit it was not terribly hot at all. The sea breeze was wonderful & as always the ocean provided a gorgeous backdrop to make their day even more special. Even though this was only my second wedding (to see images from the May Rustic Country wedding click here) I think I am getting the hang of weddings…..& enjoying doing them. 😉 If you want to see more from Tom & Koley’s wedding you can check out their PASS album here.

Earlier this summer I met up with Miss Lila…I had capture her parents while they were waiting on her arrival & even got to trek to the hospital to meet her. 😉 But I LOVE watching these babies grow.
She is the happiest, smiliest baby I have seen since Kylie was little. So sweet, so silly, so perfection. ❤ Her session was supposed to be beachside, but due to a storm we were moved inside to a lifestyle session. I think it worked out beautifully as her room had lots of light & beautiful colors to make for adorable portraits.

Earlier this summer I had the chance to meet up with the wonderful Meek family. I had met them last fall for Fall Minis, where they told me they were wanting a new little addition soon & we got a shot of the family boots (plus one) for their announcement to their family. I was SO excited when I learned Baby Cash was on his way (& saw the announcement, too cute!). He was supposed to be an August baby he decided July was better.
I know you are enjoying the sneak peeks of this handsome little man, but I wanted to share this session which turned our beautifully despite that it was raining…the whole time…that’s right. An entire session in the rain. ;- ) Who knew White Springs had so much to offer that included rain covering.

This week you will get to see sneaks of little Luke at only 15 days old (& he rocked it!), but before that why not look back to when his parents & big brother were waiting on his arrival. One of my favorite Maternity sessions to date. Gorgeous location, gorgeous momma to be & I loved the colors she styled them in!
O’Leno State Park is one of my favorite places to shoot simply because of how beautiful it is (we are so lucky to live so close) & how I often get to see wildlife when shooting…including a baby deer. I am always happy when clients want to shoot there as I know I can get a variety of backgrounds & poses for the session. 😉

Back in June (I am SO far behind on blogging, lol), I photographed one of my daughter’s best friends for her 4th birthday. Early morning at one of our gorgeous local parks (seriously, these parks in the morning have AMAZING light….absolute perfection).
Her mother had mentioned a few ideas & asked if I could get a wash tub, but it wasn’t till I got there I knew exactly what her mom had in mind. I take ZERO credit for this concept. It was all her mom (& a little bit Pintrest I hear, lol). I love when clients have ideas they picture in their heads & want me to make a reality. I love themes, fun ideas, fun props, all you creative parents out there bring. 😉
Miss Allie did beautifully & enjoyed herself (with multiple clothing changes per her request). I have been photographing her since she was two & it’s amazing to watch these cuties grow. I love my clients. I love that they come back to me. I love that I get to watch their children grow each year. I love what I do.

Last month I was able to yet again go to St. Augustine to capture a wonderful large group on their annual visit to St. Augustine Beach…..there group has been going there for more than 15 years! It may have started small, but it grew. Family & friends alike, lots of fun, beach time & apparently a tradition of a “performance” that the children put on….the current teenagers started it & the new kiddos have taken it up (I was invited, but had to head back home). SO cute! Love them & love that I get to see my college friend (and Tri Delta Big Sister) & capture her family two years in a row. Have I mentioned I love my job?
